Metro Electric’s comprehensive in-house safety program is among the best in the electrical contracting industry. Metro Electric not only complies but goes above and beyond all Cal/OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Fed/OSHA safety standards.

Under the direction of Metro Electric’s safety committee, the safety program incorporates comprehensive safety practices as an integral part of every electrical contracting project. Metro Electric’s safety committee is proactive in reviewing industry trends and develops new procedures wherever necessary.

Metro Electric’s safety program includes:

  • Monthly safety committee meetings
  • Frequent job site visitations and reporting by safety committee members
  • Weekly field safety meetings
  • Ongoing training program
  • Safety training orientation seminars for new employees
  • Quarterly reviews with insurance carriers
  • Public monitoring of Metro Electric’s driving habits through the “How Am I Driving?” program

Metro Electric is a proud member of several safety-related organizations, including the OSHA 500, the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), the National Safety Center, and the BICSI Sound and Communications quality assurance program. BICSI is the association advancing the information and communications technology community.
